]]>The resort’s Greece inspired design made it ideal for their Mediterranean themed prenup. They were able to shoot in different areas of the resort where they were able to get a range of romantic, dramatic shots — from casual romantic to formal dramatic. All the different locations were perfect for each set. There’s the casual romantic set against greens, the vintage beachside picnic set, an elegant outdoor formal and the fiery dramatic formal set. Don’t you just love the long billowing gown against the resort’s white Grecian facade, on the rocky seaside and amidst the remnants of the dried palm trees?
You can tell, Jason & Kristine enjoyed their prenup experience.
It was amazing! Instant vacation for us as well…Overall we had a great experience, we loved the outcome of our prenup photos and we are so thankful we chose the best suppliers, mostly our photographer/videographer who have been patient with us. They were all professional and friendly. We got the chance to be model/celebrities at least once in our lives haha
For this Thunderbird Prenup, the couple had to take the necessary precautions to manage whatever challenges or discomfort they might encounter given that it’s an out of town & outdoor shoot.
We almost rescheduled the shoot because of the storm forecast, so we monitored the weather the whole day before our trip. Luckily, the weather in La Union was perfect. Let me just share that I offered eggs to St. Claire twice, and our suppliers were teasing me during the shoot “nasobrahan sa itlog maam” because the weather was too hot.
We actually stayed overnight to maximize the location and for our suppliers to implement their plans. We booked a 3 bedroom villa for the team, with complete amenities and super cozy rooms, I totally recommend the villas.

We reserved at Thunderbird 3 months earlier and we started looking for suppliers afterward.
This is advisable for couples like us who have no experience with photo shoots. They will provide pegs and ideas for the shoot.

]]>This is probably the reason behind why most couples would like to be surrounded by nature & the outdoors as they immortalize their upcoming union with a prenup session. Likewise, we see how Ryan & Krystel’s love just shines through with their session themed ‘Sunday Engagement Session at the Farm’.
They chose San Rafael River Adventure in Bulacan as the backdrop for their engagement session.
“The first time we went to that resort, we fell in love with the place and I told myself that I want our prenup session to be in that resort. We both love to go to the beach or resorts and at the same time, the place has this nature vibe, which we also like.”
Aside from their common love for the beach & resorts, and the fact that they just loved the place, the couple took into consideration their photographer’s style to match with the venue.
“What made us to finally choose the venue was due to our photographer’s style in taking photos. Our photographer’s style mainly focuses on bright or well-lit surroundings and greenery backgrounds. The venue suits that well, and it brought the best out of them. It’s like they were in their comfort zone. And it did! The photos were amazing!”
Coming up with the theme, on the other hand, was also in collaboration with their stylist
“The theme was basically an exchange of ideas from us and with our stylist, what the venue looks like, what we like to do as a couple, where we usually go, things like that. Until she finally came up with the mood board that suits the venue, hence the “Sunday Engagement at the Farm” was created as our theme”
It’s typical for sessions like this to be tiring for couples but, most of the time, it’s really a lot of fun, especially when working with suppliers you can bond with.
“It was super fun! Tiring, yes. But everything was really worth it. Plus, we get to know more about our suppliers, so it became a bonding time with them as well.”

For those who will have a 4-5 hour prenup shoot, it really helps to bring something to eat while doing the shoot. Kung nakakapagod ngumiti sobrang daming beses, mas nakakapagod atang mag-take ng picture and think outside the box para mapaganda lalo ang output ng photos. So let us not forget our suppliers because they also need the energy to do their jobs properly.
At first, you will feel a little nervous and shy at the same time, but once you get a hang of it, your smile and poses will come out naturally.
They know how to make the best out of every photo. But don’t be afraid to make suggestions, so that it can be more collaborative and fun.
Get some beauty rest the night before of the shoot. You wouldn’t want to look haggard/stressed in the photos, right?
Plan ahead. Yes, there may be last minute changes but it pays a lot if you plan ahead of time (transportation, food, schedule, etc.).
Don’t dwell on the things that didn’t go well, but rather, focus more on what else can be done.
Looks like Ryan & Kristel has got it all down pat. They do look cool and relaxed in their pretty engagement photo’s don’t you think?

]]>“We chose Solaire Resort and Casino as our venue because of its luxurious interior, and its floor-to-ceiling windows with a panoramic view of Manila Bay. We also took into consideration the comfort and convenience of having the shoot done in a hotel room, which meant we did not have to suffer under the heat and humidity outside. “

In this couple’s case, they had four set-ups and if I were to describe their themes, it would be ‘fresh morning in casual grey sweats’, ‘dressy casual afternoon’, ‘boyfriend shirt twilight’ and ‘formal evening romance’. I love how they were able to capture different romantic themes and moods in one relatively small space. Of course, that would not be possible without the help of Romela & Deo’s suppliers for photography, makeup & styling.
“It was unexpectedly fun! We initially thought it would be awkward because we were not used to posing professionally for the camera. But we immediately established that connection and level of comfort with our wonderful photographers from Icebox Imaging, lead by Sir Michael Galang. Our suppliers also collaborated with one another to ensure we were beautified and posed tastefully for the camera. Ms. Ish Sison our makeup artist, was detail-oriented and she looked after my partner and I through out the shoot. Ms. Yvonne Camay our stylist, had her eyes on us the whole time and made sure we looked our best in every photo. All of which manifested in our remarkable prenup photos!”

“We know budget can be tight especially when preparing for the big day. But I really recommend to invest on a good stylist to help create the theme for the shoot.”
“Do not hesitate to have that dialogue with the photographer to communicate your expectations, likes and dislikes. Have that conversation prior to the prenup session.”
“Nourish yourselves with food and make sure you and your partner are well rested prior to the shoot. Make up can only do so much!”
