One can’t argue how romantic Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar’s 18th-century Philippine theme can be. It’s a perfect setting to capture the love between a couple in a way that is dramatic yet elegant.
What made this place the chosen backdrop for Bernard & Jane’s engagement session is how it fits their classic wedding theme. They discovered the place thanks to the recommendation of their photographer, Michael Galang of Icebox Imaging. Looking through the photos, you’ll how the couple will have some timeless pieces to cherish forever. I can find a few shots I’m sure they’d love to see hanging in their living room or bedroom wall.

We asked the couple about their experience in this shoot. As with most couples who aren’t used to being in front of the camera, they felt nervous during the first few shots. Again thanks to their photographers’ coaching & assurances, they eventually loosened up and felt comfortable for the rest of their session. Another blessing for them on that day was that despite having scheduled their shoot during the rainy season, they got a beautiful day and didn’t get a single drop of rain!

For other soon-to-weds looking to have their own engagement session, here are their tips:
-
Do your research in finding the right suppliers for you
Find a photographer that fits your style & taste. Look for a makeup artist you are comfortable to work with. Look for a stylist that is able to out the best in you.
-
Ensure you are in the best mood and filled with positive aura so you will feel good during the prenup.
-
If you’ll be going on location out-of-town, be there one day before so that you will not feel exhausted and haggard during your shoot.

Oh that’s so romantic. I’m also a bride to be. Such great tips. We want the wedding to be perfect.
This.is.amazing! I can still remember our pre-nup photoshoot, we too were nervous because me and my husband are camera-shy! But the pictures are breath-taking. Congrats to the lovely couple and the photographer behind the lovely outcome 🙂
These photos are like little treasures of moments in time. So beautiful. You can just feel the passion and love. Some could easily be paintings. Memories for life! Beautiful!
Those pictures are really stunning! They have a glamorous and old-fashioned look to them. I love how the couple’s clothes match the setting. But I was a little confused because I’ve only heard prenup applied to prenuptial financial agreements, not pictures. Guess I learned something new!
How amazing are your photos?!?! I love it! Las Casas is also so lovely! My family and I were there a few years ago and I loved it! 😀
Beautiful photography. I agree, the location is incredible. There is something about photography that brings out the best in not only the environment, but to truly have the subjects (the couple) stand out. It is why you pay. Not all photographers have the eye, and also coaching is INCREDIBLY important.

You both look so perfect together 🙂
Amazing photography and the place indeed looks romantic! Must say, the entire credit does not go only to the photographer! You guys just stand out well:)
Wow, just wow. The photography is breath-taking. The photos are more than a thousand words. It’s a gazillion of words. Kudos to the photographer because they captured what the couple would want to express. It’s just amazing to have a place in our country like Las Casas which I think is a best friend for pre-nup shoots.
Wedding photos capture such important memories. I can understand how they were nervous at the beginning but you can’t tell in the photos. The setting looks so romantic. I’m sure this couple will have beautiful lasting memories of their very special day.
These photos are just simply amazing! I love the feel of the scenery and the editing of the photos are superb! I have these peaceful feeling whenever I see old scenery like the ones on the photos and it added more drama on the scenes or the story of the photo. Very well done.
