Marriage proposals are a matter that men normally think deeply & thoroughly about. Aside from the fact that they’d be popping such a life changing questions, more often than not, there’s a bit of a pressure to plan out how to make it into what would be their ladylove’s dream proposal.
Here’s one Dennis so thoughtfully put together for his high school friend turned sweetheart, Marie. Many would agree that the beach side is one of the most romantic places to pop the question for a dream proposal, now having it set up as a feast for the senses makes it even more so. We just love how they also got an instant set up for a prenup photo shoot.
We see how what makes proposals like this so special, aside from the picture-perfect output, is all the effort that went through the preparations.
“It was very hard for me to prepare for it because I was afraid that she might catch me. So I did all the planning in my office. I also sought help from Moki (of Mokigray) and she made it all easy for me. I also did some research on how I can make it all dreamy and perfect for her.”
Aside from the challenges in keeping things hush-hush during the preparation and taking care not to get caught, there’s the bigger challenge of making sure the day will go as planned without her suspecting a single thing. Apparently, that is easier said (planned) than done.
“I had a guess that it was happening on the day because his moves were not usual. Instead of wearing shorts and slippers to the beach, he wore slacks and leather shoes. The funny part was when we were being escorted by the resort’s driver, he pointed out the proposal set up and told us to watch for it later… I already expected it, thanks to the driver. I was just thinking about how he will execute all of it.”
Then there’s the hurdle of actually asking THE question. Oh, how one suddenly get tongue tied to pop the question.
“I was asking him if he will ask me “Will you marry me?” but I think he was too nervous that he forgot to ask me the question.”
Now, that’s a funny part of a dream proposal story worth sharing with your children & grandchildren. From what I know, guys would tend to forget to either ask THE question or put the ring on his fiancee’s finger because of excitement or nervousness – we can only guess. So, take heed.
To guys planning to pop the question & to ladies just waiting for that question to pop up, here are Dennis & Marie’s tips.
“ Make it her dream proposal. Do not forget to say the magic words, “Will you marry me?” Do not let your girlfriend have even a tiny idea about it in order to make it a big surprise.” – Dennis
“I am the type of person who does not expect because I do not want to be disappointed. However, if you are expecting for your boyfriend to propose, do not think about it a lot. Just have faith in him because if he truly loves you, he will make it perfect and dreamy just for you.” – Marie
When you think about it, in the end, it takes the two of you to make it your dream proposal. Guys, prepare for it well. And ladies, even if you have a hunch – or if it’s already pretty obvious – just go along with the flow to make it a special moment for both of you.
Of course, it also does a world of difference to hire the right suppliers for you who will help you with carrying out your plan.
“Moki did all the work for me. She is very accommodating and is open to my suggestions. She only wanted the perfect proposal for Marie and I. She is the best! Jeck Kempis also made it surreal! His photography skills are exceptional.”
Guys are often asked what the turning point was for them to decide to propose for marriage. We asked Dennis this and I’m sure Marie just swooned with his answer.
“I just felt that she is the right lady for me. Actually, the answer is unexplainable, maybe even a mystery. But she’s the only girl who can make me feel perfect through my imperfections”.
Now isn’t that such a dreamy line behind this Palm Beach dream proposal?
