]]>“We wanted our shoot to have variations. So we made sure that each theme is totally different from each other, but still showcases the kind of love that we currently have and dream about.”
You can almost literally say that there is definitely so much love between these two. I can imagine how it makes for a more fun and exciting relationship that will just get you falling in love every so often. Robin & Dholly have four sets and it’s amazing how they’re able to distinctly identify the different love moods that can define their relationship. Here’s a list of their sets and what it represents.
It’s just lovely how they wanted and are able to bring to life & capture these various love moods. Their engagement session can serve as a visual checklist of sorts for them to go back to as they grow old together. It can be something to look back on to reminisce about the love they had and remind them of the love they want to continue having over the years. It’s also a way to capture how they are as a couple with the common passion for travel.
“As a couple who loves to travel and going on long drives, an out of town shoot is a non-negotiable for us. As we did our research, Zambawood made it to top of our list because of its enchanting woods scenery. The place has a lot to offer so it’s been easy for us to think of different concept for our shoot.”
Since they made their engagement session as not just a testament of their love for each other, but a testament of things they love together, they just had to include their ‘fur baby Lychee’ in their engagement session. It’s no surprise that Robin & Dholly seemed to enjoy every minute of it. Surely, with four sets, it was a tiring shoot for them, but there’s not mention of tiredness from Robin & Dholly when we asked them about their prenup experience that highlights their different love moods.
“It’s an instant vacation — eating together, having small chit-chat in between takes, our makeup artist’s daughter was also there playing and swimming after our shoot in the pool area and. of course, our dog Lychee enjoyed roaming around the house. We were glad that we were able to bond and get to know our suppliers even before the wedding.”
Here’s a realization this couple had that got them to see the value of having their own engagement session.
“So, having an engagement shoot is not just a luxury or an extra added cost to our wedding budget but a fun and memorable experience for us because it’s not every day you are being glammed up or wearing nice long dresses right? It’s a way to celebrate that unique stage of our lives through photograph.”
To learn from their experience, here are a few things they wished they paid more attention to while preparing for their session.
“I was not able to bring extra silicon bra, mine does not stick well on this skin so good thing our stylist got extra pair. But it will be good if I have one, also different kind of bra is a must…(and) I forgot to bring my spandex to hide my puson”
“Having an outdoor shoot is really tiring so be sure to hydrate a lot, your skin will thank you plus it will show on the photos”.
These indeed are things couples are likely to forget with the excitement of going about their engagement sessions. Fortunately, despite this, however, Robin & Dholly had an awesome prenup that was able to capture their relationships different love moods.

]]>“We chose the venue since we wanted to have a venue that had different elements to it. Zambawood is pretty expansive, so we had all the room in the world to play around and be ourselves in. Although quite far from Manila, we’ve seen so many beautiful prenup photos taken in Zambawood and that helped us decide.”

And play around they did. The forest, a garden, the beach — it seems like this couple was able to maximize the use of Zambawood. Not only did they make the most of the expanse of the venue, but made good use of time as well, stretching their shoot into the evening so that they can have romantic photos with sparklers in hand and by a crackling bonfire.
Understandably, it was an exhausting day for Pierre & Sally to do the shoot for their prenup session. But definitely, they had fun.
“Carlo and Project Mayo 7 were very enjoyable to work with, and we felt at ease with them directing us.”
You have a long day of shooting afterward, so it always helps to be at your best! Plus, it shows in the photos if you’re puyat too!
A prenup is usually a once in a lifetime thing … let them do their magic.
Your venue, concept, and clothing also play a big role in making your shoot less typical and more unique. Research on pegs, look at past shoots in your chosen location and see if your wardrobe fits the venue. Most importantly, you yourself must be comfortable with what you have in mind; otherwise, it would look forced.
