Keep your sanity at your next fair with our bridal fair cheat sheet! You’re most welcome.
No matter how much you’ve looked forward to your special day, there will come a point during your planning stage when the music fades and you feel like giving up. Our guess? That point came while agonizing over either your guest list or your suppliers. So we’ve taken upon ourselves to compile our very own bridal fair cheat sheet, and hope it saves you some money on painkillers. As for your guest list, well, that’s another story.
Who wouldn’t get all giddy and excited at the thought of marrying the love of your life? Who?!? But Before I Do can happen, a lot of preparations (maybe a few debates over where to sit your constantly inebriated distant uncle) need to first take place. If you want to be a savvy bride, you can’t miss the 28th Before I Do Wedding and Debut Fair! April 1-2, 2017 at the Megatrade Hall 1 in SM Megamall.
Why go to bridal fairs?
Orchestrating your dream wedding can take its toll, not only on your bank account, but also on your time. Naturally, you want to get the best suppliers that suit your needs. Most couples take a long time reviewing portfolios, doing taste tests or ocular visits, and the like. Going to bridal fairs is an efficient way to meet the ones you’re already considering, but also to survey all the suppliers out there. After all, you might be missing out on some gems if you just rely on the super popular ones! What’s more, suppliers usually offer insane discounts when you book them at bridal fairs! If that isn’t smart spending, then we don’t know what is.
Shangri-La Plaza’s The Wedding Project is here to make bridal dreams come true.
Shangri-La Plaza creates more special memories as they launch the first-ever bridal fair called The Wedding Project which will be held for two weekends: July 15-17 and July 22-24 at the Grand Atrium.
We were invited to attend the media launch for this bridal fair and as the host for the program aptly described it, it’s a “fabulous one-stop-shop for the discerning bride.”
Apparently, this is Shangri-la Plaza’s first time to host a bridal fair. So, we asked Shangri-La Plaza’s EVP & GM Ms. Lala Fojas what spurred the idea to have one now.
“We actually like to be able to create a venue for our retail partners to be able to show our customers what they have to offer. We do this by groups or categories and we have actually come to realize that for weddings, we do have a lot that we can offer. You can have your bridal gowns, you can have your jewelry, you can have your invitations and even your honeymoon venues and even the wines! And we complimented this with professionals who are in the industry like the wedding planners and those who do designs and set ups.”
