When you live far from your family, you want them to know how you’re doing, even share about your romantic escapades, specially if it’s one that will lead to you walking down the aisle.
In a way, Benedict & Jette have immortalized theirs not just for themselves but for their families in choosing to have their engagement session in Doha, Qatar where the couple is currently based.
“The venue that we chose are few of the tourists spots around Doha, Qatar. Since we reside in Qatar for a few years now, we want to focus on the location that we enjoy as a couple whenever we get our free time and also show our friends and family in the Philippines on what Qatar has to offer.”
Most of us don’t dare dream of having a double prenup shoot. But to have an engagement session in Dubai AND Tagaytay, two famous cities separated by vast lands and seas—now that’s something you don’t hear often.
Double prenups seem like something only celebrities can aspire for—what with the practicalities of building a home after your wedding looming over your shoulder. Kenneth and Remalyn, who are both based in Dubai, had set their minds on doing just one in the Philippines, where they were getting married and where all their suppliers were. They never dreamt they would be having their shoot done, not just in Tagaytay but also in Dubai, at the place where their love story began! The unplanned engagement session in Dubai was a sweet surprise that fate, as well as the Freshminds Photography team, had conjured for them. The couple were so grateful to their dream team’s generosity for this rare opportunity, a truly unforgettable Top Knotter moment.
For a laid-back couple like Jay and Kaye, it’s more about the personality than the drama. With the help of their photographers from Bob & Zab Photography, they came up with the perfect cozy indoor prenup at Antipolo Beehouse.
“We chose the venue because we were looking for a place that’s cozy, where we don’t have to be pretentious and we can just be ourselves.”
Aside from choosing the right venue, choosing the right outfit is key to getting the kind of vibe you want for your prenup. While they had different sets of outfits for the shoot, they were all well within the casual & cozy style. With coffee, pizza and lots of laughter, we can see how light and relaxed Jay and Kaye were.
A hike up the mountains doesn’t seem to be such a bad idea if it means getting such awe-inspiring photos like these from Ton & Trizia’s Benguet prenup.
Fortunately for Ton & Trizia, the photography studio they tapped, Mayad Studios, gave awesome recommendations for their prenup theme and location.
“The theme and concept were recommended by Mayad’s creative director, Kharu. Photographer, Bill suggested we do the shoot in Benguet where had to climb mountains. (It) turned out to be one of the best experiences during the shoot!”
From a modern day belle to an ethereal princess, this timeless, dreamy prenup highlights different romantic looks on soon-to-be bride Sheena while exquisitely paired with her future husband, Rocky.
The couple describes their prenup theme to be dreamy, whimsical & romantic. For this, they chose Alta Veranda De Tibig in Silang, Cavite as their backdrop. They found this place to have a unique, romantic vibe with a classy & elegant ambiance.
With its spots considered as one of the most luxurious snowy destinations in Asia, Vib & Ja definitely made the most out of their Hokkaido prenup.
One of the challenges of picking a theme for your own prenup is arriving at decision that both soon-to-wed parties will not only agree to, but really love as well. One way of coming up with theme options is to probably list down anything under the sun that you and your soon-to-be bride or groom have in common. We’re not sure if that’s how Vib & Ja arrived at a decision, but their common favorite color combination made for a good basis.
